History
Missguided was founded in 2008 by Nitin Passi. He set up the company after receiving a $50,000 loan from his father and launched the website in 2009. Passi had little business experience when he launched the site, he was also the only employee for the first six months which meant doing everything himself from arranging photo shoots, marketing, uploading products, packing items to be shipped, to handling customer care. Within the first six months the company had turned over £100,000. As of 2015, sales have risen 70% to £86 million. Profits were £5.5 million compared to £900,000 the previous year. The business plans to reach sales of £150 million by March 2016.
Moving forward, Passi is also planning to invest in distribution, new technology and move to new offices in Salford Quays for the 180 central employees who will help him lay the platform. His clothing line has expanded across europe and has launched in the U.S department store Nordstrom.

Returns & Refunds
If you decide that you no longer want your purchased items you can return them to Missguided (excluding, pierced jewellery, grooming products or swimwear if the hygiene seal has been removed or any other item that can’t be returned for hygiene or health reasons) within 14 days of delivery, provided:
- The Items have not been worn or washed (and there are no signs of transfer of any make-up or other stains);
- If shoes, the Items are unworn and show no signs of wear;
- The Items have all tags attached and are returned with correct despatch and order information.
They will refund the full purchase price taking into account any discounts or promotions applied when you bought the Items. The refund will not include any delivery charges you have paid. All refunds will be made using the same method of payment originally used to buy the Items.
